The ’1/36/12/50β€² challenge // You decide what I do!

Hello,

I enjoy that all of you reading my blog, so I want to give you the possibility to participate.

The idea came into my mind two days ago, and I think this will be fun.

The basic idea is:

1. one roll of film

2. one camera

3. one fast 50 mm lens

4. one weekend

5. 36 frames

6. 12 topics

7. 3 frames per topic

8. 12 photos to be published

What I want you to do is to vote for a camera, a film and propose a topic (e.g. “women drinking a cup coffee” or “train station”). After a week or so I’ll start a poll with the proposed topics, so you can vote the final 12 topics.

After this, I’ll load the selected camera with the this special roll of film and spend a weekend in the city trying to accomplish the challenges you give me.

So the rules are: only one roll of film, a maximum of three frames per topic and 12 challenges.

When the film is developed I will present you the 12 final photos.

I will give you the possibility to vote for your favorite picture and I will send a 20×30 cm high quality print to the person who proposed the “winning photo”.

I’d be glad If you would participate Β and I’m curious how you will try to challenge me.

Dear facebook visitors, you are welcomed to join this as well. πŸ˜‰

Β Thank you!

I like you guys, so here’s an other photo.

Kodak Portra 400@800ISO//Patterns

Well I try to find interesting motives, in ordinary scenes.

Taken with some Kodak new Portra 400 at 800 ISO.

I think it’s a great film to push, I’ll try a roll at +2 stops next week. I’m curious how this one will turn out.

Tomorrow I’ll publish a post called “The ‘1/36/12/50’ challenge “. I will need your assistance on this, but I think it will be a lot of fun for all of us.

Enjoy & take care,

Jimi

Provia 400x@3200ISO//Off to the limits

As promised a shot of Provia 400x at 3200 ISO,

taken last Wednesday. Isn’t she lovely?

I like that colour errors that occur by pushing this film 3 stops,

but anyway if you want to have fun with this, just push it to 1600ISO.

At 3200 it’s a really nasty task to scan these. Took me about an hour for this one.

Enjoy & take care.

The funny side

Just some fun stuff for a Sunday afternoon.

I didn’t take this, my Mum snitched my camera. πŸ˜‰

Enjoy, laugh & take care.

Jimi

(I’ll upload some photos tomorrow of Provia 400x pushed to 3200 ISO, don’t try this at home, it’s nasty to scan πŸ˜‰ )
