Easter Weekend // Garden Photos

Hey all,

I visited my parents over the Easter holidays and took some shots in their garden.

I really enjoyed the Nikkor AF28-105D, it’s a great lens, especially its macro ability. The lens focuses close as 22cm (distance between scene & film layer/sensor).

For all photos I used some Kodak 200UC film that really works fine, even though it expired in 2009.

What really fascinated my me was the hybrid snake’s head fritillary you can see in the first photo.

I hope you enjoy the photos.

Take care,

Jimi

  1. Love the snake’s head fritillary. They are such striking flowers and you’ve captured it beautifully. Love the effect of the warm-coloured leaves in the foreground of that shot too.

  2. A beautiful set of pictures, Jimi – and I especially like the viewpoint of the top one with those orange leaves in the foreground and the out of focus trees in the distance – an excellent picture! Adrian
